Go all out this Christmas with a large mug of velvety white hot chocolate, garnished with white chocolate fingers, mini marshmallows and whipped cream

Ingredients
- 200ml whole milk
- 100g white chocolate (the best quality you can find)
- a dash of vanilla extract
- 1 cardamom pod, crushed (optional)
TO SERVE
- white chocolate fingers, mini marshmallows, whipped cream
Method
- STEP 1
Heat the milk and the cardamom pod, if using, in a pan until simmering. Add the chocolate and vanilla and take off the heat. Leave for 5 mins for the chocolate to melt, then fish out the cardamom and stir well to combine everything. Put it back over the heat for a couple of mins to warm up if needed, then serve garnished with white chocolate fingers, mini marshmallows and whipped cream.
